The Cache Series represents the meeting of two elements, forming strength and unity. It deconstructs the notion of a box, captured through its form and function, a testament to the beauty found in the eucalypt forests of Western Australia. Created from an exploration of contrasts in nature, the pieces have evolved to represent growth and change.

Ensuring that this natural timber resource is used sustainably, the pieces are constructed using thin layers of timber in a vacuum forming technique. The sections of the pieces are drawn together by embedded Neodymium “rare-earth” magnets. To open a piece from The Cache Series gently slide the sections in opposite directions releasing the hold.
